New Orleans was made for bowl season. The French Quarter never sleeps, the food is legendary, and Caesars Superdome sits right in the middle of it all. Arrive two days early — you will need them.

  • Commanders Palace, Dooky Chase, and Acme Oyster House are non-negotiable
  • Bourbon Street is the pregame — Frenchmen Street is the real music scene

🌹 Pasadena, CA

The Granddaddy of Them All.

The Rose Bowl is the most iconic stadium setting in college football. Playing under the San Gabriel Mountains with the Arroyo Seco as your backdrop — there is nothing else like it. January 1 in Pasadena is a tradition worth experiencing once in your life.

  • Stay in Pasadena or downtown LA and take the Metro Gold Line to the game
  • The Rose Parade happens the morning of — arrive very early or the night before

🌴 Miami, FL

South Beach energy meets college football.

Miami brings a different vibe to bowl season — 80 degrees in January, art deco hotels, and a city that knows how to host a spectacle. Hard Rock Stadium sits between Miami and Fort Lauderdale and is easily one of the best road trip stadiums in the country.

AT&T Stadium is one of the most impressive sports facilities ever built. The Cowboys game day experience is baked into every corner of it, and for a bowl game it is electric. The DFW metroplex means world-class food, nightlife, and easy flights from everywhere.

🌵 Phoenix / Glendale, AZ

State Farm Stadium in Glendale hosts some of the loudest bowl crowds in the country. The Phoenix metro gives you Scottsdale nightlife, Old Town, and the best winter weather on the bowl circuit — expect 68 and sunny. The Fiesta Bowl has hosted some of the greatest games in CFP history.

  • Tempe is worth an afternoon: Mill Avenue and ASU campus are game day ready
