Over-the-Rhine (OTR), the trendy historic district between campus and downtown, is a fantastic compromise — walkable restaurants and bars with reasonable Uber rides to the stadium. Expect rates to spike on football weekends, especially for marquee Big 12 matchups, so booking 4–6 weeks in advance is wise.
